The Mr Pixfoot Project is part of my final masters project. The research behind the project is advergames within the music industry and how effective they can be for small artists. The band Mr Pixfoot is based on grunge, indie artist Mr Bigfoot, with the goal of the player earning music tracks, and gaining access to a secret link. My game for advanced game mechanics, you play as a sentient box trying to escape an office building while collecting items (Part of the full game) and causing destruction throughout the office. This game is a prototype for a full game that will be produced.

The video shows the final version of my Game Mechanics module project. The game is an arcade style shooter which tasks the player to fight off hordes of enemies with the difficulty increasing as the player reaches a new level.

Slimeball is a game where the player will be tasked with battling waves of enemies to progress through the game. The project is in very early stages and will progress with varying enemy spawns, varying abilities for the player, larger level sizes, multiplayer options, and better art design. All aspects of the game so far have been self created.

The aim for this module was to create a white-box design for the crisis deadzone pack (Supplied for the module). This level is 1 of three levels that make up a campaign the player will experience, the task for this bit being to escape the mall area.

The video shows the walk-through for the Virtual Reality project I completed. The project began as a group project but due to issues during the project was changed to a solo, first person project, with the Virtual Reality elements becoming theoretical. All level design and blueprinting has been done by me, while the art assets were provided by the art team before the project change.

This video shows the second and third iteration of my mechanic for my game design roles module. The first being a teleportation, second being an instant kill, and finally a time manipulation. As they are the basic blueprints they are not yet visually appealing.
